Dr. Phil Good, born in Marietta, GA, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctatorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
If you didn’t already guess, Phil is Dr. Michael Good’s son, and he’s been helping his dad at the clinic since he was a wee child. In fact, some of his earliest memories are of him hiding in the kennel’s cages.
Dr. Good’s professional interests include orthopedics, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, and preventative health. He is skilled in abdominal and cardiac ultrasound. He is also skilled in ACL reconstruction through a modified extracapsular procedure.
Dr. Good enjoys outside activites, including hiking, kayaking, fishing, and wildlife photography. Dr. Good lives with his wife, two dogs, and two cats in Atlanta. Most importantly, Dr. Good is an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Tech fan, so make sure you and your pets are donning the appropriate team colors (just kidding, sort of).
